For 4 months the sun is not rising over the horizon in Spitsbergen. In December and January -during the POLAR NIGHT- only the moon, stars and northern lights are giving light for the landscape. However, You can make husky-tours with help of moonlight and headlamp. In February the light returns back. You can experience THE BLUE ARCTIC. Later the sky turns red and orange. By the end of the month the sun is reaching the mountain tops. Huskies cross the tracks of the polar fox, pass grazing Svalbard reindeer, run between the mountains and up to the glaciers. Svalbard ptarmigan is the only bird staying trough the winter in Spitsbergen. By the middle of the march the nights are not getting dark anymore and in April the sun stays 24 hours over the horizon. The arctic light is most beautiful in the night and we can travel in the night, if You whish. It is time to head to the east coast of Spitsbergen island. Maybe we are lucky and see the king of the arctic -the polar bear- wandering trough the white wilderness. SPITSBERGEN ADVENTURE is waiting for you! Newly-born pups of ringed seal are white and spend their first days on the ice. We travel with huskies on frozen fjords, pass glaciers fronts calving into the sea. The names of places tell us the history of the archipelago. You can join our SPITSBERGEN EXPEDITION and follow the tracks of polar explorers to remote areas of the arctic wilderness.

| We arrange 1-week and 2-week sled dog programs in Spitsbergen, Svalbard. All guests drive their own sled with (5-)6 dogs (1 person per sled). Max. 4 guests in group. We offer tours from middle of January until beginning of June POLAR NIGHT and BLUE ARCTIC In January, February and beginning of March we drive daytrips and stay 1 to 2 nights out in the wilderness. Full board, Sunday to Sunday, 5 days dogsled driving included. SPITSBERGEN ADVETURE From mid March to May we travel to the East Coast and stay 4 nights (5 days) out in the wilderness. Full board, Sunday to Sunday, 5 (-6) days dogsled driving included. SPITSBERGEN EXPEDITION Maybe you are experienced musher and are interested in longer expedition to the more remote areas of Spitsbergen? We arrange special 2-3 week expeditions in April, May on request. Spitsbergen adventure- tours and Spitsbergen Expeditions are only for people already having experience in dog sledging. Spitsbergen is situated in the arctic, between northern Norway and the North Pole.
